Welcome to Grassroots Trust, a Charitable Gaming Machine Trust. Grassroots Trust operates under the Gambling Act 2003, and is governed by the Department of Internal Affairs. Grassroots Trust was established in March 2003 to primarily foster the amateur game of Rugby Union within New Zealand. It also has a mandate to support other amateur sport and organisations benefiting local communities. Grassroots' Board of Trustees meets monthly to review grant applications, and are committed to acting as responsible stewards of available funds. Great care is taken to ensure that monies granted are well used and for the authorised purpose. In 2008, Grassroots made grants totalling $3,596,068.00.   Check here to see if you're eligible
